Dan Whyment, Forest Management Director East District

Dan joins East District from the Canal and River Trust where he held a senior position overseeing operational delivery for the East Midlands. He brings with him significant leadership experience across the public, charity and volunteer sectors.

After completing postgraduate studies in Criminology, Dan spent the first part of his career in policing with specific experience in senior community and safeguarding roles. He achieved chartered management status in 2014 and holds qualifications in Programme Management, Construction Design Management and Health and Safety.
