Get ready for an unforgettable Christmas evening at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. This magical after-dark trail returns for 2025 with brand-new lights, spectacular installations, and festive fun for the whole family!
Created by the award-winning producers behind Christmas at Kew, this is an absolute must-see this festive season.
Wander through the illuminated arboretum, where twinkling lights bring the stunning setting to life. Marvel at the brand-new installations for 2025, including ‘Laser Lights’, ‘Mycelium Network’, ‘Fireworks Trees’ and ‘Wicker Animals’. Keep your eyes peeled for Father Christmas, as you can spot him on the trail!

Trail entry time slots
To avoid overcrowding and ensure the enjoyment of all visitors on the illuminated trail you will need to select a time slot when booking.
Time slots vary depending on the date, but generally take place every 15 minutes between 4.15pm to 8.30pm. Please ensure you arrive at the trail entrance promptly for your allocated start time. Advanced booking is essential.
Prices
Standard and off peak tickets are available on various dates and time slots. Off peak tickets are generally midweek or later in the evening and standard pricing applies at weekends, dates close to Christmas and on earlier time slots.

*All infants and personal assistants will require a ticket to enter the trail and must be booked with a paid ticket. These must be booked in conjunction with a full price ticket. Valid student ID to be shown on arrival.
** By selecting 2 adult and 2 child tickets, the family ticket discount will automatically apply to the basket.
All orders subject to £3 transaction fee.
Parking
If you are planning to arrive by car to Christmas at Westonbirt you must pre-book your parking space prior to arrival along with your trail tickets. Standard or Blue Badge parking is £8 per space when booked in advance. We are offering Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and Forestry England Members one free parking space, this must be booked in advance, see below for details.
Offer for Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and Forestry England Members
We are offering all Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and Forestry England Members one free parking space, when pre-booked at least one day in advance with Forestry England. Select the car parking (member) ticket and enter your membership number when prompted. If you require Blue Badge parking, please contact customerrelations@forestryengland.uk to book (subject to availability). You will need to show a valid membership card on arrival with your member parking ticket.
Relaxed Session
These sessions are for adults and young people, with additional needs, who would love to experience Christmas at Westonbirt without the usual high volumes of people. For Christmas at Westonbirt 2025, this will be held at 4pm on Saturday 29 November, Saturday 6 December, Thursday 11 December and Wednesday 17 December.

*Tickets are not valid for day admission into Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.
*A valid ticket must be shown for all vehicles entering the car park and all visitors entering the trail.
*Tickets are non-refundable, however you can transfer to an alternative date/time of the same value in your online account (subject to availability, up to 1 day in advance of your visit).
*A post trail survey will be sent to the email address provided. You are under no obligation to complete the survey but doing so will help in planning future activities.
