Open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Visitor centre opening hours change seasonally.
1 March - 31 October: 9:30am - 5pm
1 November - 28 February: 9am - 4pm
The car park is open 8am - 8pm every day.

By Public Transport
We welcome car-free visitors and offer free admission to those arriving by public transport or bike – plan your journey at Good Journey.
The Moors Bus operates a weekend service to the forest between July to September. Other service buses are available in Thornton Le Dale to major towns and cities.

Just passing through? There is no charge for your drive through Dalby Forest if your journey is completed within 20 minutes.
