From 16 July to 14 September 2026, we're opening up selected forest car parks to campervans and small motorhomes for unique overnight stays, deep in the heart of the forest. This summer, you can stay for up to two nights at some of the country's most cherished forests, from Cornwall to the Scottish borders.
Soak in the evening sun and wake to the sound of woodland birdsong, as you experience the forest like never before.
Booking and pricing
Campervan overnight stays are permitted at selected forest car parks only. Booking is essential at all locations except Kielder Forest.
Prices are £16 per night, or £14 per night for members, at all locations except Kielder Castle where the price is £15 per night for both non-members and members.
Vehicle size restrictions apply, designed for campervans and motorhomes, with no electric hook up or waste disposal facilities, please check the full campervan stopover regulations for details before booking.
