Stunning scenery, a higher calorie burn, and increased mental well-being are just a few things to look forward to when you run in the great outdoors.
With 1k, 2k, 3k, 5k and 10k options, escape the stuffy gym and get out into the fresh forest air to get fit where you can be inspired by stunning natural surroundings.
The 10k route follows the trails along the railway, loops around Blakemere Moss, a bird watchers paradise and returns via the picnic area. Follow the purple waymarkers.
To run 1k, 2k or 3k, look out for the turn around plaques.
To run 5k, use the shortcut and follow the white waymarkers.
There are two options for a 5k run at Delamere Forest. The shortcut loop on the 10k running route or the Blakemere Trail (5k). This shared route is popular and used for our weekly Delamere parkrun event.
