Hidden sounds of the forest

Experience Beechenhurst in a new way

The Secret Sounds of Trees was an audio-visual project by artists Jez riley French and Lau Nau that invited visitors to experience Beechenhurst, in the Forest of Dean, in a totally new way.

Through a combination of lighting and soundscape, visitors were able to listen to the sounds of the forest that aren't normally audible to the human ear, such as the sounds of trees, plants, soil and insects.
