Essentials

Toilets

We have 10 toilets of which one is accessible, located behind the cafe. The toilet door is 970mm wide and is a manual door, no key needed. 

Needing help

Our friendly recreation team can be found at the info pod 10am – 3pm on weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. Outside these hours call 0300 067 4935 and we will come to you. 

Arriving at the forest

We have one car park for visitors to Wyre Forest, there is no barrier on entering. The parking/drop off point is on a tarmacked surface and is flat. From the car park to the entrance there is a level 1400mm wide path. 

You can get to Wyre Forest by bus.  

The nearest bus stop is located on the main A456 road outside the main entrance, 0.3 miles / 0.5 km from Wyre Forest.  

Car park

We have five accessible parking bays, located at the nearest point to the Café entrance, play area and start of walking trails. The car park is not free.

We have pay and display by card only machines, you can also pay using a mobile with the RinGGo app

The cafe

The door to the cafe is 1700mm wide. From the main entrance to the dining area, there is a level access 1400mm wide path. Music is not played in the cafe.

Getting out in the forest

You can hire an all-terrain mobility scooter by emailing wyre@forestryengland.uk at least 72 hours prior to required date. Collection will be from the information pod located next to accessible parking bays. 

Our easy access trail, designed with flat wide paths and no gates is located down the hill away from the Cafe. 

Seating and shelter

There are plenty of benches to take a rest on your visit to Wyre. Accessible benches are located next to the children's play area. Apart from the cafe there are no sheltered seating areas.
