Walking at Abbeyford Woods

Walking in the woodland is the perfect way to get some fresh air and explore some of the area's most beautiful landscapes.

Take a walk along the Tarka Trail to follow the River Okement or find your own path along our forest roads.

Abbeyford Woods is a great place to discover the changing colours and wildlife of the seasons. Look out for majestic Douglas fir trees, and pass through areas of autumnal gold beech trees along the river banks.
