Giant Marble Run at Alice Holt Forest

Launching in time for the Easter holidays, join us and be one of the first to try our new, giant marble run.

With six different zones taking you on a 1 mile journey through the forest, the giant marble run gives children and families a new way to play in nature.

Get the kids off their devices and get them playing the real thing whilst enjoying all the health benefits of being out in the forest. Fresh air and nature are proven to improve health and mental wellbeing and now we’re giving children the chance to swap the screens for the forest.

Feel the leaves crunch underfoot, hear the breeze gently blowing through the trees and the bird singing as you explore the new play offer. We’re sure you’ll hear the sounds of children’s laughter and play in the air too!

When you arrive at Alice Holt Forest, head to the Visitor Centre to purchase your giant wooden marble, available for £8. Once purchased, it’s yours to keep so you can visit and play on all our giant marble runs as many times as you like.

Once you’ve purchased your Forestry England giant marble, follow the signs, or ask our friendly team to show you the way to the first giant marble run zone!

When you’ve completed the challenge at each zone, follow the yellow arrows on the posts to the next marble run along the Play Trail route.
