We’ve partnered with Countryside Mobility (a charity initiative, operated by Living Options) to offer all-terrain mobility scooters (“Trampers”) for hire. All-terrain mobility scooters are available to any visitors aged 14+ with limited mobility. In order to hire one you'll need to be a Countryside Mobility member.  If you are not already a member, you can join when you arrive at Alice Holt. This is a quick and easy process and you do not have to be registered disabled.

They are safe and easy to use, even if you’ve never used a scooter before. All first time users are provided with a short introduction by our rangers to make sure you know how it works and feel safe and confident.

What is a "Tramper" and where can I go?

"Trampers" are all-terrain mobility scooters. They are easy to use and able to tackle a range of surfaces and gradients come rain or shine. Our scooters are suitable for:

• Easy Access Trail
• Willows Green
• Play Trail
• Family Cycling Trail

Users must be over the age of 14 in order to be insured. Our ranger will take you through a short induction and will explain the trails that you can safely enjoy. We'll also give you our emergency contact information in case you need it while on the trails.
