Expressions of interest

Kielder Art & Architecture is seeking expressions of interest from artists and architects to create an exciting new feature to mark the mountain bike trailhead at Kielder Castle, in Kielder Water & Forest Park (Trailhead location OS Map Ref: NY63219 93691).
The project will draw inspiration from the high-energy sport of mountain-biking to create a visually striking marker in an area of high visitor footfall close to Kielder Castle visitor centre, the focal point of Forestry England’s acclaimed mountain bike trails activity in Kielder.
Project timeline
- deadline for applications - 6pm 27 June 2023.
- shortlisted applicants notified - 30 June 2023.
- announcement of competition winner - 19 July 2023.
