Chopwell Wood is an unmanned site and there are no staff on site.
Arriving at the forest
We have one car park at Chopwell Wood, there are no dedicated accessible parking bays but there is plenty of space and it's free to park.
There is a bus stop close to the main entrance.
Getting out in the forest
We don't have mobility equipment to hire. Our Easy Access Trail is recommended for wheelchair users.
Seating and shelter
There are plenty of benches around the site to take a rest. There are accessible benches around the Easy Access Trail.
There is no sheltered seating.
