Join us for a centennial celebratory guided walk
We are marking 100 years of Bedgebury National Pinetum with a special guided walk led by Pinetum Curator, Dan Luscombe.
Learn about the rich history and evolution of this world-class conifer collection, from its founding in 1925 to its role today as a global leader in tree conservation.
What to expect
This leisurely 1.5-mile walk will take you along the main paths, offering a unique opportunity to explore the beauty and significance of the pinetum through the expert insights of its dedicated curator.

Do I need to book? Yes, booking is essential. Please phone the Information point 01580 879820 or pop in to book your place.
Parking? Vehicle admission applies, if not a Forestry England member.
How long? Approximately 1.5 hours.
How much? £5 per person or £4 for Forestry England members.
Where to meet? Meet in the atrium at the Visitor Centre 5-10 mins before the start of the walk
Dogs allowed? Dogs are not permitted on guided walks (except assistance dogs)
What to wear? Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions and walking on forest trails.
Accessibility? This guided walk takes you along the main hard standing paths in the pinetum.
