5KM Canicross event, utilising the trails of the White Fields area.
Canicross is Cross-Country running with dogs attached to the runner via a belt, bungee line and non-restrictive harness, allowing the dogs to pull and the pair to work as a team. Runners of all abilities are welcome, from elite to recreational.
The course will be marked and be over a range of surfaces including dressed trail and muddier sections, adding fun, technical challenges to the event. A shorter 2KM course is available for Junior runners, or those new to the sport.

Trail shoes must be worn. Dogs should be in a Canicross specific harness. A small amount of kit is available to loan from the organiser, who should be contacted direct prior to the event to pre-book this.
