They learn the alchemy f turning locally coppiced trees into jaw-droppingly beautiful baskets, cutting and preparing the wood by hand, preserving the heritage skills of generations of basket-makers and woodland workers.
Explore the work of these committed craftspeople as they boil oak, split hazel and pound ash, interweaving the stories of the trees with stories of creative discovery, friendship and connection with the natural world.
