Forest fitness (social prescribing)

Forest Fitness is a 12-week course to build your fitness and develop active habits. Friendly group classes are held outdoors in the beautiful forest.

Our welcoming coach, Paul, will guide you through a variety of achievable exercises to improve your strength, flexibility, and fitness. The social group will make sure you feel fully supported as you work towards your goals.

What to expect

The course will start with a relaxed welcome session over coffee and cake to meet your coach and other group members.

Each week, you will work through strength, flexibility, and fitness exercises tailored to your progress. Group members support each other as you work towards your goals.

Time for graduation! Every course graduate receives a certificate of achievement and a t-shirt. Many course graduates choose to continue their fitness journey with our social Forest Fitness group.

Is Forest Fitness for me?

Forest Fitness is FREE for people who are currently not active/exercising or at risk of social isolation.

You don't need any previous experience. You will need comfy clothes suited to the weather and a bottle of water.
