How to enter the dog show

To enter, email haldon.rangers@forestryengland.uk with your dog’s name and breed, and the class(es) you would like to enter. We will also need your name (or the name of the person who will handle them at the show), and a contact email and telephone number. Places are strictly limited to 10 per class on a first come first serve basis.

Accessibility and wellbeing

Haldon Forest Bark will take place outdoors on a mixture of forest track and grass so we recommend sturdy footwear and dressing for the weather.

The terrain is largely level but the grass may be muddy in wet weather. There are several benches available around the event area.

There are no toilets in the event area. Visitor toilets are located in the visitor hub opposite the cafe, about 400m from the event area.

There is free drinking water for dogs and humans near the visitor toilets.

Check people and dogs for ticks when you leave the forest.

The event area is likely to be busy. The Discovery Trail will have an optional diversion to avoid the event area.
