Explore exciting stalls, have a go at activities, and try your paw in our charity dog show. Make a day of it with Forest Walkies with Wallace & Gromit, an unforgettable forest adventure with challenges for you and your pooch! Finish your pawsome day with a stop at our cafe to refuel for the trip home (doggy treats available of course!).

Accessibility and wellbeing

Wyre Waggy Dog Day will take place on forest tracks, both tarmac and on grassy areas. Some aspects will be inside, but the majority will be outdoors. We recommend sturdy footwear! 

There is sloped terrain where the trade stands are. It is suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Plenty of seating will be available in multiple different areas. 

Visitor toilets are located next to the cafe. 

Check people and dogs for ticks when you leave the forest. 

The event area is likely to be busy. We will have a quiet area for pups to have a breather and relax in the shade. The Giants trail takes you further into the forest and to cooler areas under trees, ideal for pups and owners if things get a bit busy. 

July can get very hot. Never leave a dog in a car, even for a few minutes, especially on warm days, as temperatures inside can rise rapidly and dangerously. Even with windows open or shade, a car can become a heat trap.
