Welcome Volunteer (meet and greet)
This enthusiastic team aim to help visitors get the most out of their visit to Guisborough Forest. They could be giving general information about the facilities, advising on the best trails or helping people find the perfect activity for them! Your passion of the outdoors and all they have to offer will help our visitors feel welcome and inspire them to enjoy their day out in this great forest.

Event Support Volunteer
Event Support Volunteers are organised and active people who love setting up the perfect events for all involved. You will work with us to set-up and host numerous events within Guisborough Forest, engaging with all who attend. Your love of being active in the forest will help event attendees to enjoy Guisborough Forest and make them want to keep coming back.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your organisation and event co-ordination skills and provides experience of working in the events and wellbeing sector. You will feel proud to have made an all-round fun event within a beautiful forest setting.

Walk Leader
Do you love walking around the woods and would love to share you experience with others? We're looking a Walk Leader to help us to facilitate guided walks through a landscape full of rich heritage. You will need to have a willingness to work directly with groups and feel confident to share your expertise. This role would involve completing your walk leader training with us (unless you already have it) and leading walks over 90 minutes in and around Guisborough Forest.

Activity Support Volunteer
Activity Support Volunteers are friendly, approachable and thrive when engaging with people in our 'Feel Good in the Forest' sessions. You will work with Activity Leaders to set-up activities, meet and greet participants and collect testimonials and surveys. Your passion for the forest and the outdoors will inspire participants to enjoy Guisborough Forest making them want to return to discover more.
This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in face to face communications and gains you experience of working in the recreation and wellbeing sector. You will get the satisfaction of knowing you’ve added a bit of joy to someone’s day by their engagement in the activities you support.
