7km running route at Hamsterley Forest

This fantastic 7km route initially follows Bedburn Beck and then after a sharp uphill, takes you on a undulating experience through Frog Wood, passed Potato Hill and runs adjacent to Ayhope Beck. The surface offers good trail conditions throughout the year with awesome views across Grove Road and the local landscape.

The route is suitable for fell, trail and track and trail shoes, no need for studs. Winter weather conditions may vary the terrain.
