Essentials

Toilets

We have two cubicle toilets, one is accessible. They are situated next to the cafe and are open 8.30am - 3.30pm. We also have a permanent portaloo that is open all the time.

Changing Places

We do not have a Changing Places facility on site. 

Needing help

Our friendly rangers are around the site, if you need help you can call them on 01474 815738.  Staff in the cafe can also assist.

Arriving at the forest

We have one car park at Jeskyns. There is a 2 metre overhead barrier which cars can drive under, if you need access for a larger vehicle please email Jeskynsranger@forestryengland.uk 48 hours before coming.

The nearest train station is nearly an hours woodland walk away and the nearest bus stop in Cobham is a little shorter.

Car parking

We have four accessible parking bays at Jeskyns. They are situated next to the cafe entrance. The car park is not free.

We have three parking machines.  You can also pay using a mobile with the RinGGo app.

The cafe

Access to the cafe is on flat wide path from the carpark, there is a pull door - cafe staff are happy to assist with the door.

The cafe is take away, there are picnic tables and a long sheltered seating bench outside.

Getting out in the forest

There are plenty of benches to take a rest around the site.  

Apart from the cafe there are two sheltered benches in the Gruffalo Play area.

A community of fairies and elves have recently discovered Jeskyns and they liked it so much that they have decided to set up their very own village!

If you venture into the deep dark wood you may bump into Mouse, Fox, Owl and Snake from Julia Donaldson's The Gruffalo.
