Mailscot Wood trail
Starting from the toilet block in the main car park, head south and pass through a wonderful mosaic of trees on this walk which takes in the best of the forest surrounding Symonds Yat Rock.
This walk is beautiful at all times of year, make sure to look out for wildlife hiding among the trees. Deer can often be seen in this part of the woods.
There is a viewpoint along this trail which gives a panoramic view of the River Wye. This viewpoint is less well known and so quieter than the main, more famous, viewpoint.
