The Cyril Hart Arboretum Path

The Cyril Hart Arboretum Path

This path loops around the arboretum allowing you to see our wonderful collection of trees. It is a short circular trail which is not signposted - feel free to follow it in either direction. There are plenty of interesting trees to look out for along the way, some of our highlights include:

  • An avenue of cherry trees planted for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee
  • Cicilian Fir champion tree. This means it has the largest girth recorded for this species in the UK
  • A variety of acers which put on a spectacular colour show in the autumn.

Please note: Dogs must be kept on leads at all times inside the arboretum.
