Toilets
There are 20 toilets of which two are accessible and have baby changing facilities, doors are 87cm wide and are at the toilet block next to the cafe.
Changing places
There is also a changing place facility on site containing a toilet, hoist and bed situated next to the Information point. The door width is 94cm and is accessed with a key obtained from a member of staff in the Information point.
Needing help
Our friendly staff are first aid trained and can be found at the Information point located near pay machines.
Arriving at the forest
There is one car park for visitors situated next to the Information point. There is a barrier entering the woods for cars.
Car park
There are 25 accessible parking bays at Wendover Woods. They are situated next to the Information point. Parking charges apply to all.
There are three ANPR parking machines, there is a help button on the machines if you need assistance. Car parking payments are cashless and you can pay using a mobile with contactless.
The cafe
Access to the cafe is on a low gradient path, 120 metres from the car park. There are double doors that open towards you, 92cm width for each door or 184cm if opening both. There is a power assisted exit door.
The cafe has accessible seating. On occasions there is low music on.
There is a hearing loop at the Information point.
Getting out in the forest
The play trail has been designed with flat wide paths and no gates and is a recommended trail to try. It is the mint green coloured trail, 1km long and starts near the bottom of the car park away from the Information point and loops back around to the cafe.
There is no mobility equipment to hire at Wendover.
Seating and shelter
There are benches to take a rest around the site. There are accessible benches on the cafe veranda and behind the cafe for wheelchair users and families to sit together.
Sheltered seating is only located at the cafe.
