Firecrest trail
Following surfaced tracks and unsurfaced woodland paths, this trail is a great way to explore different habitats within Wendover Woods.
This trail has two options, walking the full trail covers three miles of woodland paths, the shortcut covers two miles of the woods.
This trail also overlaps onto the Juniper cycle trail and the play trail at various points.

This trail is well surfaced in areas, there are woodland paths in the middle of the trail where tree roots are exposed. There is a steep incline after the half way mark.

Accessibility
There are narrow woodland paths and a few steps down into the woodland to continue onto the main route, these steps can be avoided by going along the shortcut route. There are three resting points on this route.
