Running routes at Wendover Woods

1km running route

This route is on a flat, wide forest road and is ideal for those getting started. You will pass our viewpoint looking out on to Halton Camp and Weston Turnville Reservoir, run 500m and turn around to complete 1k.

 

3km running route

This slightly more challenging route takes you through the woods and out on the wider trail around the Boddington Hill Fort.

This route is mostly flat and is narrow at various points but not significantly.

 

5km running route

This route follows forest paths that can be stony in places. There is one challenging ascent to get those lungs and legs really working.

Look out for the Gruffalo sculpture before heading in to the depths of the forest and enjoy beautiful viewpoints during your run.
