Westonbirt has roots in Victorian plant collecting and, with trees laid out to be picturesque rather than in any botanical order, Westonbirt is now one of the most mature and extraordinary arboretums to be found anywhere in the world.

Seasonal Guided Walks
Enrich your visit to Westonbirt by pre-booking a seasonal guided walk with one of our experienced and friendly guides for only £50 per 20 people. A guided walk of the arboretum unpicks all the myths and stories behind the trees and the arboretum’s history, taking in seasonal highlights along the way. Walks and tours last up to an hour and a half. Please book your guided walk at least 21 days before your visit. All guided walks are volunteer led so while we try our best to accommodate all requests they can't always be guaranteed.
