Picnics at Whinlatter

Enjoy a tasty treat in the forest at one of our beautiful picnic areas, just bring along good food and company! 

There are picnic tables and benches located along the WildPlay trail and at the Gruffalo viewpoint. Benches are also located on the walking trails.

Picnic tables can also be found in Revelin Moss and Noble Knott car parks. Recycling bins are located on the decking and at the front and rear of the visitor centre. 

To prevent forest fires and reduce waste, please do not bring any barbecues into our forests.
