Campervans and motorhomes are welcome to stay overnight in our Fineshade Motorhome Park, there's nowhere quite like this beautiful wood for a truly memorable experience!

Park up anytime before 10pm and soak up stunning dark sky views.  

Please note that we do not allow tent, touring caravan or car parking.

Please visit responsibly

• take a look at the map for parking information 
• don't park on verges or block gates or junctions
• leave no trace - take all waste home with you
• use self-contained toilet facilities inside your vehicle or a short walk to the courtyard toilets accessible 24/7 (via keycode) 
• no waste water or litter to be disposed of at Fineshade Wood Visitor Centre
• no open fires
• gas BBQs allowed but strictly off the ground only
• three night maximum continuous stay. Please pay using the overnight camping tariff at the car park machine, opposite the campsite. Payment is needed every 24 hours on site (up to a maximum of 72 hours) or risk getting a parking enforcement notice.  
• pitch only on hard standings
• no amplified sound at any time and no noise after 10pm
• please do bring your dogs but always keep them on the lead in Fineshade Motorhome Park
• dispose of dog waste responsibly
• waste water facility available on site and motorhome wastewater emptying point
• no mains water on site
• no electrical points on site (electric hook ups are not connected)
• access lane is a narrow public highway with passing places which is fairly steep in sections and care needs to be taken in ice and snow
• please note there is limited to no lighting on site but this does make for great dark skies
• parking charges are enforced through automatic number plate recognition
• no generator use on site
• no stag or hen parties
