- Meet at Haygate car park, Dalby Forest
Join us this Festival of Archaeology on a guided walk around Dalby Forest investigating the theme of Community.
Brian Walker will be taking us on a guided walk around the Pexton area of Dalby Forest, exploring archaeology and community, from the earliest settlers all the way through time to the present day.
The walk begins from Haygate car park in Dalby Forest near the statue of the Lumberjills, please meet here a few minutes before the walk begins. A map of Dalby Forest drive can be found here

The paths will be mostly flat, with some trails slightly rougher and more uneven. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a raincoat, or sunhat weather depending! We will be taking a leisurely pace, with frequent stops at points of interest.
