Family Fun Day with special appearances from the Gruffalo

Does your child love the tale of the Gruffalo? If the answer is yes, then join us for a day of family fun on Wednesday 7 August.

See the Gruffalo himself at intervals throughout the day and join in our celebrations of 25 years of this popular story.

Put on your decorative headband* and hit the party trail, get active with our Olympics inspired spotter activity, or try and win yourself a year of Delamere Forest membership in our colouring tent! With extra special activities provided on the day, come along for a fun-filled summer day out and help celebrate this special milestone of the story.

• Ice cream

Gruffalo appearances will take place throughout the day** at 11am, 12noon, 1.40pm, 3.15pm.  

*Headbands are part of the Gruffalo Party trail activity pack which are purchased as part of the activity trail and cost £4.

**Meet and greets with the Gruffalo are managed via queuing on a first come first served basis. We anticipate there to be a high demand.
