Horse riding at Gresley, Swainspark and Tunnel Woods

Gresley, Swainspark and Tunnel Woods include public bridleways and SUSTRANS National Cycle trails which are suitable for horse riding. We ask that you don’t stray off these trails to keep these woodlands special for everyone, including the important wildlife that lives there.

Please note that there is no horse box parking at these woodlands. We recommend you add your visit to a wider exploration of this area of the National Forest by using the wide network of bridleways and permissive routes.
