Forest of Dean Cycle Centre

Visitor information

The home of mountain biking in the Forest of Dean

The Forest of Dean Cycle Centre is the one of the most popular trail centres in the UK. If you're looking for a forest adventure, we have trails for cyclists of all abilities.

With two cross-country trails and 14 thrilling downhill trails we promise you'll never get bored. We also have several skills areas for different abilities, and a pump track - to help you hone your skills.

You can also access the Colliers Trail - a circular route suitable for families and beginners which takes you around the wider forest visiting popular nearby locations such as Beechenhurst and Mallards Pike.

We have on-site bike hire available if you need to rent a bike. You can also enjoy the cafe and shop after your ride.

Fly Up Downhill operate a bookable uplift service for the downhill runs.

We are constantly working to improve and expand the trail network, and we work closely with the Dean Trail Volunteers. If you'd like to get involved with trail digging, or donate to their fundraising, visit their website.

Whilst out on the trails, if you come across any maintenance issues please report them to: fodtrails@forestryengland.uk
