- The Coppice Compound
Make your very own, beautiful, cleft oak garden bench. Made with oak from Westonbirt’s woodlands this bench will last for many years.
Learn how to cleave timber from large logs into the legs, backs and arms of your bench. Use traditional hand-tools to shape all of the component parts, and then practise jointing skills for assembly of the final piece. The legs of the bench will be removable if required to make transportation easier.
Benches can be a 1, 2 or 3 seater, with or without arms.
